left side logic

BEHIND THE SCENES

. . .

Terribly tempting.

Yes, easy it would have been, to darken the outlines of this actually quite charming portrait of what appears to be a genuine smile from a media magnate who once self-described as a “billionaire tyrant.”

Darken it down, down, right down to that one thousand yard stare, all else dark shadow; foreboding, doom.

Justified such an editorial approach might have been, given that science tells us the left side of the brain is responsible for the logic part of our daily transaction with reality. Or does the reverse upside down flip of the retina extend to a left-right swap between right and left hemispheres of our higher reasoning?

Looking into that battle scarred gaze, I doubt it.
